About to launch Himalaya Parts 2 and 3

After a good 3 days of resting and acclimatizing at 11,000+ ft in Namche Bazaar, we are sorted and ready to set out again into the rugged wilderness.  Our plan is to first trek up to Gokyo (15,600 ft) slowly, acclimatizing on the way.  Then we are going to swing back down south and make a push for Kala Pattar (Everest Base Camp overlook, at about 18,200 ft) however there may be to much snow so we may only make it to 16,500 ft.

To prepare ourselves we have been eating a lot of food and doing some short day-hikes to about 12,600+ ft.  Below are some of the photos from these hikes around Namche Bazaar:

There is actually a very young porter carrying this.  You can't see him, but he is on the other side with a strap around the crown of his head to bear the load with.
