Some Pics of Pushkar
We spent two days in Pushkar, a pilgrimage destination for Hindus. The town is relatively calm for Indian standards & quite beautiful. It is surrounded by a lake with many ghats (stairs) leading to the lake. Pushkar also caters to many tourists (foreign & domestic) & therefore has some great food. We spent our days eating, hiking up to a mountain top temple, talking to fellow travelers, & arguing with phony "priests" attempting to rip us off while sitting at the ghats. Please see previous post for more info on that subject. Needless to say these scammers did not get a cent from us. Here are some photo's of Pushkar:
