Himalayan Adventure: Gokyo-Dingboshe

Tracey & I trekked from Gokyo (4850 meters) to Dingboshe (4350 meters) in two days covering about 20 miles (we took the long route). The change of landscapes from two weeks ago where we were mainly in jungles to high alpine has been breathtaking. The trek has been tough due to the altitude but the landscape, its people, & wildlife have been worth it. We are taking a rest day in Dingboche tomorrow & plan to trek to Chukung before heading down to Lukla in early November. It is difficult to say the distance we have covered but we estimate 120-150 miles since Oct. 12. Below are some pics:
