Today the team with Project Hope spent the day getting oriented. Jeremy reports that things are safe and calm at the moment in the capital city. He said that the historic areas are heavily damaged, but newer construction is in good condition. Because there are no tourists visiting, the streets are pretty empty. The wifi and electricity is a little more spotty than our first trip to Kathmandu, but he is doing well and he looks forward to his first day of volunteer work tomorrow.
